Who I Work With
I work with adults, younger and older, who are seeking to better understand themselves, heal from painful experiences, and grow in their relationships and sense of self. My clients include men and women navigating a wide range of life challenges — from trauma and grief to relationship difficulties, addiction and avoidance, identity questions, and the desire for greater meaning, connection, and personal growth. I work with both individuals and groups and have a particular interest in the emotional and relational dimensions of men’s lives that are often underserved in therapy.

My Approach
My approach is relational, attachment-focused, and grounded in an understanding of how our experiences — especially early ones — shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others. I believe that healing most often happens in the context of a safe, honest, and caring therapeutic relationship.
My primary approach is Emotional Transformation Therapy (ETT®), an attachment-based, interpersonal psychotherapy that combines therapeutic connection with precise visual brain stimulation using light and wavelength to support emotional healing and change.
I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and draw from a range of evidence-informed approaches, including affect-focused, relational, and experiential therapies. I tailor my approach to each person, following your lead and working at a pace that feels right for you.
Therapy begins with getting to know you — your story, your concerns, and what you hope to gain from our work together. Sessions are typically 50 minutes and are held in my Franklin, Tennessee office.
